Review: Sandeman x Tipsy Scoop Port Pops

Port wine, but make it a popsicle!

For summer 2026, Port house Sandeman and boozy ice cream makers Tipsy Scoop have joined forces to create a new frozen delight: a berry sorbet push-pop infused with Sandeman Founder’s Reserve Port. The pops are available exclusively this month (July 2026) in celebration of National Ice Cream Month, which seems like the perfect month for this.

We received a six-pack of pops to try via Goldbelly and I can say they’re quite a delight. As you might expect, berries do a lot of the heavy lifting here: raspberry is easily the most prominent, with an touch of currant in the mix. That latter note is likely being driven by the wine: At 5% alcohol by volume, my math says that these pops should be about 1/3 Port, which is a lot.

On the finish, the Port influence is the most pronounced — lightly chocolatey, with raisiny sweetness that lingers forever. The Port starts out extremely subtle, but by the time the pop is finished, it’s all you can taste.

Get these delights at all Tipsy Scoop locations ($8 each) or spring for shipping to your home via Goldbelly ($85 for six).
