Review: Soto Sake Junmai, Junmai Daiginjo, and Yamagata Masamune Omachi Kimoto
The Soto brand may be run from its headquarters in Florida but their sake is genuine, made using all natural ingredients and traditional practices in Niigata Prefecture, Japan. All three of the sakes we are trying today are junmai, which means “pure rice” and requires that the sake be made exclusively with rice, water, yeast, and koji. No sugar, additives, or alcohol may be added. The name Soto means “outside” and is intended to evoke nature and natural ingredients. Review: Milam & Greene Very Small Batch Bourbon Batch 1
Milam & Greene Whiskey‘s Very Small Batch Bourbon isn’t even close to the smallest batch release its ever made, but this initial release of 75 barrels — for a new permanent edition release — is nonetheless a pretty tiny one as whiskey releases go. Does anyone else feel like drinking brings out the “real” you?
For me, drinking has always taken the edge off. I’m naturally an anxious person, but drinking makes me feel somewhat normal. I feel carefree, funny, extremely socially.. etc. On the other hand, if I’m sad or anxiousness, then it brings out more raw emotions. I genuinely feel like these emotions are feelings that I suppress when I’m sober. Does anyone else feel like this? submitted by /u/coffeeandlattee [link] [comments]

I am a 16 year old male. I have gone binge drinking a total of 3 times. The last time, I drank an entire bottle of wine and 4-6 oz of 80 proof. Is that considered a lot for my weight class? (~175 pounds) Will I have lasting brain damage?
From what I have read, the amount I drank is considered a large amount of alcohol. I didn’t black out; I still remember most of what I did that night. Drinking isn’t something that I typically do, and I probably won’t do to that extent again in the future based on the amount of anxiety I feel. I cannot tell whether my anxiety is a blessing or a curse; it might be the only bulwark against destroying my brain with drugs. For reference, my biggest fear in life is having a stroke and surviving. I feel as though I have performing below my standard academically, although that may have to…
