Drinking alcohol while travelling

I’m a 30 years old male and have never had a drink. Soon, I’d be travelling to Europe for my honeymoon and was thinking of having a few beers and wine with food while I’m there. I don’t plan to keep drinking after coming back from my trip.

My question is, would it be a bad idea to drink alcohol for this limited time? Or should I just do it?
