Sloe Gin Question

Hi all, I have tried my hand at making sloe gin this year and may have cocked up. I have accidentally added all of my berries into a thin neck 1L bottle so have only been able to get 0.5L of gin in. If I just accept this and carry on, can I (when it’s been a few months) dilute the super strong syrupy gin into more gin and still get a good result or have I fucked this for myself?
