Heart palpitations

Hi everyone. I (f28) don’t drink often. Maybe once every couple months. A few drinks in a night (2-3?). Today I had two drinks after not having any alcohol since end of February. I noticed a heart palpitation that was noticeable enough to get my mind off the conversation for about 3 seconds or so. I read online that it’s common but just curious if anyone else experienced that. I don’t have a heart condition and not obese. I workout regularly. I’ll make an appointment with my doctor on Monday but just wanted to know the experiences of others. Thanks!
