Any other Monster Beast enjoyers very unhappy with the “lighter flavor” change?

I’ve been drinking these for probably two years now, and while I was at the store to pick up another 12-pack, I noticed that they had done some visual changes on the pack and it said “lighter flavor”

There was one older pack left that I could have grabbed, but I figured I’d try out the new one since it was obvious they’re gonna be sticking with that one anyway, even tho the “lighter flavor” was something I knew I wasn’t gonna like, just didn’t know how much

I’m trying them now, and just… Why? They aren’t horrible and undrinkable, but I feel like I might as well be drinking White Claw. The appeal of the original for me was that they tasted like Monster flavors I liked, but didn’t have the caffeine and sugar, so I got the benefits of good flavor while unwinding and relaxing. Now it just tastes like watered down Monster. I’d actually say it tastes more similar to the alcoholic Mountain Dew that they came out with like a year or two ago, which also just tasted like watered down Mountain Dew. I’m more into “bitch beer” than anything, but I work at a gas station where we sold the Mountain Dew, and we always had it in stock and ended up removing it from our set after like 5 months, so it wasn’t just me that didn’t like it. So why is Monster now following suit when they had the perfect flavor to alcohol ratio?
