Thoughts on peach schnapps?

I remember Elaine in Seinfeld LOVES peach schnapps, and I’ll be headed to a liquor store in 2 days to spend a weekend drinking with some friends at a hotel. I was thinking of getting Hiram Walker’s peach schnapps, as I love peach flavoring (such as very syrupy peach lemonades), but the reviews on peach schnapps seem AWFUL. Like nobody enjoys it.

Is it truly that bad? Not a huge fan of peach rings, but I figured the flavor wouldn’t be bad. I want to get drunk, so we’re pounding Smirnoff (young, dumb, broke, lol), but I also want a softer drink that’s easier to drink because I struggle to take shots.

Any general ideas? Different bottle I should get? I don’t want to create cocktails.
