one way, or the other

I have a boss I vibe with, like we’re for sure going to be friends within the next five years. He might have a crush on me, whatever, we’ll work it out, I’m 42 he’s 54 or something, the point is we’re grownups. The question is, am I going further down the path of drinking whatever the fuck I want and I have to join him in fucking sobriety, or am I going to teach an addict how to drink in moderation. Chances are, we’re just going to accept our differences. But if he didn’t miss it quite so much I think I could teach him how to drink like a civilized motherfucker.
