Few weeks ago woke up with a numb scalp after drinking.

I typically drink a glass to a glass and a half of wine on my days off, sometimes more if I had a hard day at work. Wine usually makes me pretty sleepy so a couple weeks ago I woke up with my neck crooked to the side with tons of pressure on it from the mountains of pillows on my bed. Think as if you’re trying to sleep at the very top of your bed and you can’t fit so you move your head to the side so you can fit.

I woke up to the entire back of my skull completely numb. I was still sort of drunk so I wasn’t in an instant panic so I just massaged my head and shook it around a lot. Took about 10 mins to regain feeling. Does this have ANYTHING to do with drinking? I heard of Saturday night palsy and afraid one of these days I’ll be too asleep to wake up and never do if that happens again. It’s only happened once. Or just curious if this is common because of sleeping position. I take no meds and pretty healthy.
