Taking NyQuil the night after drinking?

Can’t find any sub that doesn’t require too much info to ask this and google isn’t helping, am I good to take nyquil after drinking the night before? Last night i had 5 mikes hard and I know NyQuil and alcohol can really damage your system if you consume both or at least too much alcohol. I got a bad cold and wanna take nyquil before I go to bed is it safe to take 24 hours after drinking?
