What liqueur would pair well with durian?

I made a durian syrup that I wanna use in a cocktail, but I can’t decide what kind of liqueur would pair well with the durian. So far I have the idea of using dark rum as the base spirit, and adding coconut cream for mixer. I was kinda thinking of using a vanilla-y or caramel-y liqueur, but I don’t have many of those on hand so I can’t experiment. Would tuaca work?
