How many years of drinking everyday until physical problems occur or anything serious?
Been going at the bottles hard (almost everyday but at nighttimes) for the past two years. Ever since 2020 when i was 19, ive been drinking often throughout the weeks. It would be alcohol like a bunch of beers sometimes or a few or a whole bottle of wine with some beers, etc.. Every now and then, i would have hard alc like gin or whiskey. (I guess you can consider me a lightweight too since im skinny and dont think i need that much to affect me)
Now im almost 22, and am really curious about any damage i mightve done to myself by now. And ive been thinking about quitting/taking a long break from the drinks when 2023 hits, since it’s the holidays and 2023 would be a nice fresh start. I was just wondering if 2-3 years of heavy drinking is really bad and is it too late for me to reverse some things around? Im still in my 20s and i usually dont hear bad things about alcohol in my age, especially as a college student and a lotta students drink a lot at this age too .
