Does a country with cheaper alcohol have better functioning alcoholics?
A country with relatively cheap alcohol for example $0.50 beer in Thailand will still have alcoholics (probably more) compared to a western country such as Australia, but the fact that alcohol is so cheap compared to Australia ($~7 a beer at bars) means they are able to spend less of their income on their addiction and will most likely be better financially? Or is it the opposite?
