Hangovers from small amounts of alcohol ?

Anyone got tips for preventing them . I had 4 beers over the course of two hours last night he and have a minor headache . I drank like 50oz Gatorade zero with mio in between them too. Oddly the times I drink excessively I get no pain the next day
