Anyone else getting older and can’t drink hard liquor anymore? Just beer for me

I swear I noticed this a year ago. I used to be a heavy whiskey drinker, just straight. Now I get the worst hangovers from 4-5 drinks EVEN when I ate & drank plenty of water that day and while drinking liquor.

Now I stick to light beer, I have about 10-12 a night and I get a buzz and NO hangover whatsoever. I used to be a fifth a day drinker of whiskey (750ml).

Now gonna be 42 years old, beer & cigarettes for me until they kill me.
