21st birthday soon, wanna try some alcohol

I’ve tried alcohol and don’t like it in the slightest but I’ve had mixed drinks where you cant taste the alcohol at all and those were pretty good, obviously. But i want to try mixing something with root beer, specifically 1919. I’ve heard root beer and rum a lot but the closest thing I’ve had to rum is whiskey, and whiskey and 1919 doesn’t sound that bad. What would you suggest with 1919 root beer?
