Sheetz

went into sheetz with my buddy to get some booze (we both have off from work tomorrow) anyways, said buddy and I are looking around and picking stuff out. for context, my friend looks 30 and I, while looking younger still look 25. So, we pick out our shit (my buddy leaves at this point to go out to the car and pull up into a closer parking space) so I have an easier time carrying stuff out. I finish choosing and go up to the register, hand the guy my ID, and he immediately asks me if my friend has ID. I’m not sure if it was because of my ODD or if this dude was genuinely being a dick, but he talked at me like a cop if that makes sense. anyways, I said yes, left the drinks at the counter, and got my friend to come in and show him his ID. it’s just odd/annoying considering how often me and my friend go in there to buy drinks. Yeah, the guy was just doing his job but it really did feel like he was being a dick just for the sake of it.
