What type of alcohol has the most pretentious alchohol connoisseurs?

I bartended at a brewery for 4 years. I talked to a lot of super pretentious beer snobs. I also have a friend who justifies his alchoholism by being an “expert” on whiskey. Recently I saw a video of a wine connoisseur spending more time swishing their wine around in the glass, holding it in the light to observe the color, and smelling it 10 times to describe all the different notes before even tasting it.

My question is which type of alcohol has the biggest snobs?
