Drinking on paracetamol and codeine

Hiya. I was prescribed some paracetamol/codeine tablets for wisdom tooth pain (500mg paracetamol and 30mg codeine). Just to take as needed to manage the pain of my wisdom tooth erupting from the gum until I can make it to the dentist for the removal. But I also have plans tomorrow to go to a party, I know the short answer is no don’t drink on it. But if I take it before 11am (two tablets) and don’t drink any alcohol until 7-8pm that night, is that still considered dangerous? If the pain is unbearable I will completely skip the alcohol and just take the medication. But if the pain is manageable and I limit my alcohol intake/stay hydrated will I be okay?
