“Beers and escalators” drinking game

“Beers and escalators” drinking game

Required: 1.) Deck of cards 2.) Pair of dice 3.) Flat table/ surface 4.) lots of beer

Note: Beers and escalators is best played with 4+ players

To start this game two people sitting next to each other both roll a single dice at the same time, then using the same hand which was used to roll, those same two players have to race to grab the dice with the higher value. The person who does not manage to grab the higher dice loses that round and draws a card. The loser then drinks for the amount of seconds which the card tells them (face cards are 11). In the off chance an ace is pulled, the winner must take a short drink. For the next turn, the winner stays and goes again, the loser passes their dice clockwise around the table.

Note: If both dice reveal the same value, everybody around the table take a short sip and the dice are re-rolled.

Now for the escalator rules…

The main objective is to win as many turns in a row as you can, which will result in the losers drinking more. If the winner wins multiple turns in a row, the loser must drink the sum of the cards for the winners entire streak. For example… if the loser of the previous round drew a 4 and the new loser draws a 3, they will have to drink for 7 seconds. If a 2 is drawn, it will double the sum of the pervious cards.

Once their streak is over, the cards are shuffled and the new winner will try to beat everyone around the table starting with the person on their left.

BUT… if the winner can manage to beat everyone around the table in a row, everybody must take a drink then the cycle begins again but now the consequences get worse. The cards should be re-shuffled and replaced before starting the cycle again. Now, If the winner beats the first person AGAIN, they have to draw a card and add 5. If they beat the next person they add 10, then 15 and so on, until they lose and the game starts all over with the original consequences.

You can keep score by counting the amount of wins you get and stop at 21, or play until you forget how to read the dice.
