Does anyone else have this and why? :(

Sometimes when I’m drunk and I wash my hands/use the bathroom, I’ll catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror and I usually look awful. Like actually horrible. Like I just think my face looks sooo hideous whenever I’m drunk and I notice so many flaws

Is this because drunkenness let’s you see your “true self”? I don’t understand why I see myself in this way after drinking but it isn’t nice
