Down bad question fr

Right so obviously me and my lovely friend are so down bad for a night out however we have absolutely spunked all of our money the other night. Look where’s there’s a will there’s a way, so we will be going out regardless, HOWEVER, just a question. I have whiskey in my cupboard and not sure if it’s out of date? Even if it is out of date, isn’t expired alcohol safe to drink? As I’m writing this out I am feeling so down bad 😭
