Alcohol related pain epigastric region

Been drinking for a long time and had this pain for since I can remember. Does anyone else experience this pain below the sternum right in the centre. Its only hurts when pressure is applied, either by pushing or taking a deep breathe expanding my stomach area. I cant find anything about this except people saying its GERD. But their pain is burning and constant and they have burping and gas symptoms which I do not. Its a very tender spot, seems to be where the esophagus meets the stomach I guessing. It actually tends to go away sometimes when eating or after a few drinks. Sometimes it gets worse when anxious.

Any info would be appreciated, I dont want to get it checked out as it doesnt cause me any problems, its just very annoying. Thanks
