Numbness

Why do my limbs get numh when i drink? all google shows is alcohol neuropathy but they state its with chronic use

within my lifetime of being an adult (2 years) i can count on one hand how many times ive been drunk so i can confidently say its not chronic use, i dont have any nerve damage that im aware of, the tingling is pretty isolated to the ends of my limbs (hands, feet, bits of my face, my crotch)

anyone have experience with this? should i simply avoid alcohol (i mean i already do a majority of the time as i mainly smoke weed socially)
