Right abdominal pain, please help

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to explain my story and see if I can get some insight. I am a 26 year old man that graduated around three years ago and drank pretty heavy in college, but stopped right after college, and don’t drink often. But for the last two years after drinking alcohol, the next day and sometimes the next day after that, I have right abdominal pain I would say not entirely pain, but annoyance and terrible terrible hangover even if I don’t have much too drink, I get swollen eyes for like two days. The thing is, I do not drink often anymore like I did back in college. I drink maybe once every three months because of this and I would drink probably twice a month if this wasn’t a thing and would love to be able to socialize and be able to drink with friends without having to worry about this pain the next day, but this is where I’m at a crossroad. I’ve done almost every test you can do in that right abdominal area I’ve had two ultrasounds, endoscopy, multiple blood work, CT scan and a HIDA scan. I’m getting quite annoyed, and I don’t really want to spend anymore money as a doctors have not found a single thing wrong. Some other things I’ve been possibly thinking it could be is that I have dislocated my right shoulder multiple times which possibly needs surgery and I’ve noticed that my body alignment is off which could be a possible cause of pain, but I have no clue. I also noticed like a pop on my right below the right side of my rib cage. I don’t know if it’s my rib or muscle skeletal thing, but don’t know what it bothers me most when I drink alcohol?

Update: I went to the doctor again and he completely verified that I can drink alcohol, and nothing will happen to me and that he doesn’t think it’s any of my internal organs based on all my results and he says there would be no reason to do a gallbladder removal if they don’t see anything wrong with it. I’ve seen multiple doctors and they don’t seem to want to help very much or are very eager to help

But my question is why does this keep happening? Why do I have abdominal pain after drinking and then have swollen eyes two days after. do you think it could possibly be an alcohol intolerance or an alcohol allergy? Has anyone else experienced this? I’d really like to have a brew with my friends with without having to worry about this pain hindering me. It’s very unfortunate that I’m in my late 20s and I want to drink every once in a while and I don’t have the ability to do so.

Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated. Has anyone have/had anything similar to this. I’ve been battling this for sometime and the doctors have not been helping.
