Good alcoholic drinks that aren’t carbonated?

I’ve never been able to have carbonated stuff because it makes me feel sick and have painful hiccups. I’ve mostly avoided drinking alcoholic beverages because most people I go with drink beers and stuff and I’m always just unsure what to order. Most of the time I’ve just settled for shots but that really isn’t something I want to do all the time. Also btw I don’t really like wine thanks.
