Was this alcohol poisoning?

At 6pm i drank about half-3/4 of a glass of 40% whiskey on an empty stomach in a very short period (about 15 minutes). Everything was fine, i played some video games, ate some instant soup, felt really ecstatic, was very drunk overall in pretty much an instant. I went to sleep after like 20 minutes because i felt very tired. Then the problems began. I woke up at around 11pm COVERED in vomit – hair, bed, pillows, everything absolutely covered in vomit, meaning i repeatedly kept throwing up while passed out. Thankfully i didn’t choke, but i felt like i was literally going to die. I was shaking, unable to move, like i was paralyzed, any slight attempt at movement made me want to throw up again. I’m a very rare drinker, i’ve only ever drank vodka a few times (also 40%), about the same amount in a similar amount of time, yet i’ve never felt like this before. This experience was terrifying, i genuinely thought i was dying, probably would’ve called an ambulance if i could find my phone. Did i suffer alcohol poisoning or did i just drink a little above my limit?
