Tequila hangover speculation

So I’ve heard that tequila is a lot less likely to give you a hangover and I’ve only ever had tequila in the same night I slammed a couple beers and had fireball. And I’m looking to go on a bender this weekend and want to know if it’s true before I obtain the bottle.
