what are some good non-fizzy alcoholic drinks?

last night i went to a bar with friends and ordered alcohol for the first time! i only got the one drink (see photo) and i specifically requested something without carbonation because i cannot stand fizzy drinks. but now i’m wondering what other non-fizzy alcoholic drinks there are!

i live in the eastern United States, so if anyone could give me recommendations for alcohol i can get there that isn’t fizzy, i would really appreciate it!
