Loss of smell while drinking

I have an alcohol related question. Does anyone else lose their sense of smell and taste while drinking and into the next day? Usually comes back after not drinking for a full day. Ive tried supplements and nasal sprays with no help. Ya I know stop drinking and that will fix it….I only drinking on the weekends and its not an insane amount. Any help is appreciated it
