how long after upper endoscopy can i drink again

im getting one in maybe 30 minutes or less, dont know what theyre sedating me with but for this kind of procedure i need to be fully sedated bc i have very bad anxiety (same thing happened with my colonoscopy) and i want to drink so fucking bad. ik they say not to drink after the endoscopy but like really how dangerous is that. i wont be driving or anything just going to a friends house and maybe taking the bus. last time they gave me iv benzos during the procedure and i felt 100% fine after just kinda tired. for reference im 18 5’7 and 110lbs

like will i die or will i just get like sick
