I built a free whisky journal app — scan a bottle label and it auto-fills the details (Android, r/alcohol feedback welcome)

Hey all — I’ve been building DramLog, a whisky journal app, and wanted to share it here since this community knows whisky better than anyone.

What it does:

– Scan a label — point your camera at a bottle and it reads the name, distillery, region, ABV, and age automatically instead of you typing it all in

– Log every dram — rate it, add tasting notes (nose/palate/finish), serving style, venue — your whole whisky history in one place

– Daily AI picks — two personalized recommendations a day based on your ratings and flavor preferences: one bottle to buy, one dram to seek out

– Community feed — see what other people are drinking and rating

– It’s also got a free, open public API for the whisky database if any devs here want to poke at it

It’s free, no paywall. Android only right now (Google Play), iOS is in the works.
