Intolerance in gin vs vodka
I’ve noticed in the last few years in pretty intolerant to some alcohol. By intolerant I mean writhing in the floor in pain, hot, and dizzy for about 15 minutes without feelings tipsy or any other good side affects. So far, this has happened from vodka, beer, seltzers and cider. The only other alcohol I’ve had, and enjoy is gin. Gin is totally fine thus far. I’m assuming my body can’t handle the active yeast, but both gin and vodka is distilled. Any ideas on why I can do gin just fine but not vodka?
I haven’t noticed a difference between brands. Vodka is almost always a bad reaction and gin has always been safe.
