How long to wait after first drink

Hey I actually have never drunk alcohol before at all so I have no idea what my baseline could be or how my body would process it. I plan on attending a sports event where I’ll have a hard seltzer (1 standard drink) around 5:30-6 pm. I would be taking public transit home but would have to drive home from the station (15 mins.) it would be late and I don’t have anyone to pick me up that late. I would be driving at 11 PM. Is this plenty of time after I’ve had the drink or is it not worth the risk of not knowing how it will affect me?
