How long after taking a Benadryl can I drink?

I took one 25mg Benadryl today around 12pm because I was having a mild allergic reaction to something at work. I am going out with friends tonight at 8pm to get drinks, and I’m not sure if I should or not. I am a 5’6” 130lbs female.

I’ve seen mixed answers on this with people saying absolutely don’t do it and others being like yeah it won’t be a problem…so what should I do?
