Buzzballz

I’ve found that buzzballz taste must less like alcohol from a shot glass (actual glass) than from the can/ball itself. Is there any reason for this?

Maybe it’s to do with smelling the buzzball when drinking it normally but when you shot it you aren’t really smelling it or the metal top.
