Makgeolli and soju.

How easily can you smell makgeolli and soju of someone. I’ve watched kdramas and they dramatise how much soju and makgeolli smell comes from someone. But what’s the truth to that? I know I can easily smell wine and beer of someone but vodka and some other spirits are hard. Does anyone have any idea for these two?
