Faces change when drunk

Has anybody ever had this? When you get a certain level of drunk and the person you are with’s face changes?

I know this seems wild. But like even someone you know really well. Their entire face will just change, and they wont look like themselves anymore.

No other drugs at play here. But I’ve had it a few times. Normally a night when you’re just 1 on 1, or spend the whole night with someone.

And then all of a sudden they just look completley different to what you understood/remembered.

Probably the same thing here as when ‘beer goggles’ are at play. But it’s really weird when it happens with someone you know really well.
