What is being drunk like for you?

I am not super familiar with reddit, made this account just to ask this, because I’d like to hear from other people. I don’t think my drunk is the same as other people’s drunk and I feel as if I am merely misinterpreting something?

I drink very casually. I’ll have a cocktail every so often, but I rarely ever drink enough to get what I consider tipsy. I’m not really a party person or anything, and I’m not really certain my limits. At most I’ve had three or four drinks in a night.

The thing is I always feel completely clear minded? I think it’s a little easier to make me laugh but otherwise my friends have told me a couple times that I don’t change much after I’ve had a couple drinks in me. My brain works the exact same as when I’m totally sober and I recall everything with total clarity. The only real difference is how heavy my limbs feel. I wouldn’t pass a single sobriety test because I can’t walk straight for anything, but if I’m sitting I don’t think anyone would even notice.

Yet, when I hear stories about other people’s endeavors in drinking I always feel like I’m doing something wrong somehow?

Last night my girlfriend and I drank the same amount of alcohol, just three and half glasses of the vodka mixed something our friend made. She doesn’t remember most of last night but I remember everything and I remember being clear minded then too? I think it’s really interesting.

I don’t really have interest in testing this theory but a part of me does wonder just how much it would take for my inhibitions to lower the way others say it does for them…
