Sweet Alcohol that can get you drunk and taste good for a noob

Hey im a noob to this i have found two brands i like oliver sweet wine an chi chi’s mud slide, i want to broden my tastes but i don’t have alot of money i want to try a sweet mead, wiskey, burbon, sake, ect that is ok an i can get drunk on and not break the bank. im tired of buying bottles that taste like shit a cluttering my fridge pls help me
