Intense stomach pain from liquor?

Hey guys. I’ve been dealing with this issue for a while now, probably about 2-3 years. Anyways, I’ve been drinking liquor on and off since I was 15. Nothing crazy, I get drunk pretty easily cause I’m 5’2. Anyways, it’s so weird but sometimes (I still dont know whats triggering it) my upper abdomen, directly underneath my sternum will be in SUCH BAD pain for a good 15-20minutes. It’s unbearable, it feels like someone is stabbing me for a while in that spot, and then once it passes, I’m usually fine for the rest of the night. I tried to figure out what the causes were, it seems that any kind if liquor, whether a mixed drink or straight liquor will have the same effect. It’s also only sometimes, not every time, but when it happens, it’s awful. Here’s what I noticed over the years of experimenting.

When it does happen, if I sit still, it lasts for about 20-30minutes, but if I get up, start moving, it lasts around 10-15 minutes. So it hurts badly once it first goes down my stomach, then once it passes it’s alright? Usually when it does happen, I can continue to drink and I won’t get the same pain for the rest of the night (granted, when it does happen, I barely drink after cause I’m scared.) Doesn’t matter what liquor it is, or how much liquor Doesn’t matter if it’s a shot, if I slow sip it, it’s all the same

I kept wondering if it was maybe the food I was eating prior, maybe I was allergic to gluten. So I decided to not eat bread or anything prior, only certain meats and it still happened. I wanted to try and eat gluten free snacks or something and then drink and see if it helps?

I’m so confused what this is and why it started in my 20s. I’ve always had stomach issues unrelated to drinking, and I do think I should visit the doctor but each time I’ve mentioned it, they just say I need TUMS and don’t say much so I’m not sure.

Anyone experience anything like this? Would love to hear peoples opinions. I’m open to experimenting anything!
