(US) if my friend was to be served an alcoholic drink, could I drink from that drink even if my ID isn’t accepted (it’s expired)

(23 yo) Basically never went drinking bc COVID happened and then my ID expired. But my friends are going drinking tonight. Could I theoretically join them and have them order an alcoholic beverage for me?
