Not able to drink hard liquor without mixers.

I love beer and can drink galons of it.

But when it comes to whiskey/ rum etc I cannot have it without mixing it with a sweet soda/ mixers.

I mean cmmon, I want to taste the essence of a good liquor without it being mixed with anything…

But just a sip of it neat gives me nausea.

How do I fix this?
