question (cant rly find an answer for this on google cus im not sure how to word it mayb) but—

this has been on my mind for some time now, idk if anybody else relates or it’s a me only thing, my homeboy also relates tho;;

this is something i noticed thru the years of me growing up nd drinking. for context im 20, i been drinking alc since i was 12 but getting drunk drunk since 14.

so the actual question: how come the older i gotten, the more difficult drinking liquor straight up has gotten?

TO ELABORATE on wat i mean by this, back thru my mid-teen years i would drink crazy amounts of hard liquors completely straight up wit absolutely no chasers of any kind nd have absolutely no physical reaction to it or any difficulty doin so. however in the last two years ish, drinking hard liquor straight up has gotten so much more difficult, like i can force myself to stomach it straight but i will gag thru the process nd feel my throat close up tryna reject it or some shit. like nowadays i need a chaser or ill die😭 js makes absolutely no sense how it came to dis LOL

i js took a shot of bacardi straight up n gagged so hard LMAO but 15 year old me would go thru half a bottle in under an hour straight up n b completely fine.

is there a scientific reasoning for this or like any reasoning at all?? cus it js makes no sense to me, not proud to admit this part but i drink quiet a lot nd definitely far more than i did back then..so why my body do dat nowadays😖
