malibu

hey y’all. i’m so confused rn. me and a friend bought a malibu (18%) bottle, as we’d never drank it before so we figured why not? we had no tolerance, finished it within an hour or two and felt nothing? we both have a low tolerance as we haven’t drank in a while. we both hadn’t eaten. we usually drink 11% malbec and we always feel it. anyone know what could’ve happened here?
