11 days without a drink.

I got into the bad habit of drinking out of boredom about 3 years ago. I was never very excessive. But I was to the point that I was drinking 3-4 25oz 8% beers every day/night. No off days for the period of about 3 years.

Had a bad scare about 12 days ago where it felt like I had a blockage where I had the worst gas pains in my life for 3 straight days. The worst cramps throughout my whole body. I thought I may have had something serious going on but was stubborn and wouldn’t go to the ER. I suffered through bleeding hemorrhoids, dehydrated all the time, gained 50 pound etc.

Stopped cold turkey 11 days ago. Not sure why I started to begin with but I am hoping I can continue the streak.
