Advice on sanitizer (alcohol)

I found an old tube of hand sanitizer (which I am fairly sure was 70% alcohol) and I’d like to know if there’s any way I can tell if it still works or not. It was closed all this time and it seems to still have some smell and work fine, but is there a way to know if it sanitizes still?
