Splotchy red skin when drinking?

Every time I drink, which is often, my skin gets all splotchy and red and hot, without any pain or itching. It does not happen if I’m sitting outside drinking, or sitting somewhere with a breeze or cool air circulating. It’s extraordinarily bad if I drink inside in a warm area. Does anybody here experience the same issue I have? I’ve read a bunch about alcohol intolerance/alcohol flush reaction, and I get mixed answers when I do. Anybody have experience with treatments that work?
