Is wine a good drink to get drunk from

So I’m sorta new to drinking and stuff, I haven’t really found my drink of choice yet so I just drink vodka with a mixer to get drunk usually, but I recently saw that wine is quite cheap (£5-10 depending on the wine ofc) and I also saw the % is roughly 12% or higher on wine, so I thought it’d be a good way to get drunk while keeping costs down (ofc I’d have to drink more wine as its a lower % than vodka). Again I’m new to this, have barely drank wine or other spirits etc, so keep the smart comments to yourself please.
