New to the Sub (and Vodka)

I grew up as a teenager used to smoking weed. Wasn’t much of a drinker, nor beer or liquor. Don’t get me wrong, had several wild ass parties as a teen involving both (not lowkey not mentioning pills, which seem to be a newer phenomenon.) Got drunk af with a bunch of lifelong friends and had girls that never would’ve touched me in both arms, not that anything happened with them but the pics were cool af.

Fast forward to being in my late 20’s (almost 30) I’ve kinda fallen off the weed. Been drinking more often, still not quite an alcoholic as I know I have an addictive personalities and set boundaries as to how long I will drink (not so much on how much I drink in a sitting, that’s still a problem) but I’ll take needed breaks when I start to notice that cold shaky feeling and realize I need to abstain for a bit.

As I transitioned to alcohol, I noticed I don’t much like beer, I get too bloated and takes too much to get to where I want to be. Enter: Whiskey. The cheap stuff but still somewhat high quality. No KD, but Evan Williams. Bonafide Kentucky whiskey with quite a bit more of a burn than say, Jack Daniels. But Jack was a little too pricey for my budget and found the sweet spot with Evan.

Recently made the switch to Burnett’s Quadruple Distilled Vodka, and I must say. It’s smooth, cheap, and definitely gets the job done as after all, it’s all ethanol. As far as taste goes I can respect why people choose specific liquors, but as far as “feel” goes Burnett’s gets the job done at a very nice price point.

Sorry if this a bad post, forgive me. Just wanted to share a little personal experience with any other of you alcohol connoisseurs and see what you might think of my journey.

Будем здоровы, my friends!
